Holistic Counselling is a little different from other more mainstream counselling styles, though it uses much of the methodology of a variety of other styles of counselling and psychotherapy at times. Holistic Counselling is based in Humanistic Psychology. It is similar to life coaching as it seeks to inspire the person to become more empowered in making decisions and choices by developing life skills that will enable them to do so.
As a qualified and registered therapist, I assist the individual with developing new living skills and new ways of thinking. This allows them to make confident choices about their future and not continue to let the events of the past have any power on the present or in their future.

Holistic Counselling provides practical tools that are used for self empowerment, confidence, stress management and coping. The person is then equipped with specific skills and techniques that will assist them in achieving goals they have set for themselves, manage their life in ways that are more fulfilling and lead the life they want to live.
The ethos of HOLISTIC COUNSELLING and MEDITATION THERAPY is to develop new living skills and new ways of thinking to allow making confident choices about the way a person wants to live and not continue to let the events of the past have any power on the present or in their future.
SELF-IMAGE is the idea, or mental image one has of oneself. SELF-ESTEEM is respect or favorable image of oneself.
So, Self-image is how you perceive yourself. It is a number of self-impressions that have built up over time.

Beliefs filter the way we are able to receive and assimilate information. Our beliefs direct us how to embody. perceive and respond to what is happening in and around us.
Beliefs are formed by being attached to our past memories, experiences, emotional events and programming from significant sources in our lives. They are also formed through traumatic experiences or events in our life as they become attached to the emotions associated with the experience.
Therefore they can have a negative impact on our thoughts, feelings and the way we view the world.You can change the character of your life by changing your beliefs!
